S.d.Ch. is the author of prosaic and dramatic texts, a collage artist, a composer, a songwriter and the leader of Our Dora´s Hands Band. In order to produce his plays he runs the Dramatic seminary Varlén. He is the key author of Divus Publishers, cooperates with Rubato Publishers, musical brand Polí5, and with magazines A2, Artist, New Space and World and Theatre (SAD). For SAD he wrote three original plays - The Universal Restroom, The Last Goose Supper and First of All Not to Start Laughing.
He is the librettist of the comic book Red Amadeus - or The Life of Baroque Superman, creator of collage comic books Varlén, assembler of large-scale mural collage-comics compositions Varlén der Grosse and votive series Varlén´s Saint Mountain. His art was exhibited at Divus Prager Kabarett, The Moravian Gallery in Brno and Divus London.
His prosaic texts include a funeral romaneto A Makeshift Imitatio Christi, concerning the fate of mortal remains of Ladislav Klíma, a village novel and spiritual thriller Cold Wave; Secondary Trilogy, where he deals with his funeral dreams, and a summer diary of an existential liturgy.
He has written nine dramatic texts for puppet and drama theatre, in which he approaches questions of nation, art and humanity as a chronic catastrophe; later they were published in three trilogies (Czech, Art and Human). His appalling experiences with art and cultural industry he incorporated in a series of dramatic texts and plays, later collected and published in Misantropium. Haunted by Brno´s ill working art business, he wrote plays Phantom of Morgal and Theatrical Brno. Commissioned by friendly periodicals, he continued his critical approach in plays like Alice In Front of a Mirror, A Mountain of Writers, Little Breakfast at BIS and Little Lunch at The Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes and The Ship of Fools.
Apart from his own productions, his plays are sporadically produced - A Still Life at Slovan (Goose on a String Theatre in Brno), Spiritual Death in Venice (The National Theatre in Brno, Horse Hospital in London). Czech Radio produced his plays
From All Matches the Last One, For Hash and Revision.
